Due to a very warm, dry season over this vintage our small planting of Chardonnay vines produced a reduced crop. However the classic flavour of Chardonnay, citrus and melon, shines in this fresh and subtle wine which exhibits a nutty lingering finish with a hint of lemon and a beautiful creamy mouthfeel. The wine spent 8 months in French oak barrels and was bottled in October 2019.
