The very popular back vintages of 2005 and 2006 Shiraz under our old label are not available through the new website. However you can order them direct from Jane through the contact page or by phone. There are limited cases available at the great value, special price of $150 per dozen case inclusive of GST and delivery.  There are also some cases of 2007 Chardonnay looking for a good home for $100 per dozen.

The She-Oak Hill Label

Best known as the political cartoonist for The Age newspaper,  John was enthusiastic and gracious when we suggested he might create an illustration for our new label in 2008. In  fact he presented  several water colors and a number of pen and ink drawings for our deliberation.  So now in addition to collections in The National Gallery of Australia,  National Library of Canberra, The National Gallery of Victoria, The Victorian State Library Art, The Melbourne Cricket Club Museum and  private collections both in Australia and overseas,  John’s fine work enhances each bottle of She-Oak Hill Shiraz and Chardonnay.

She-Oak Hill Shiraz Wins 5 star award in World’s Best Shiraz judging

She-Oak Hill is proud to announce that our 2008 Estate Shiraz has been awarded a Five Star rating in Winestate Magazine’s ‘World’s Greatest Shiraz Challenge’, equal top of it’s category. I call that ‘punching above your weight’.  Reviewed in the September edition of Winestate Magazine’s World’s Greatest Shiraz Challenge V the judges described the wine in these terms:  ’Stunning white/black pepper aromas with a generous dash of spice. Palate offers a seamless balance of serious oak with vibrant fleshy fruit and a sensible level of alcohol.’
